Alejandro Mandes (TIA board member and founder of Immigrant Hope) provides the narration for this video. Alex explains the ‘Who’ and ‘Why’ of immigrant ministry. Immigrant ministry, providing legal and/or other holistic services to under-resourced immigrants, is the church’s opportunity to offer “a cup of cold water to the hungry, broken, naked and vulnerable”. Jesus intentionally orchestrated his life on earth around this invitation, “offering a cup of cold water”, (on many occasions like in John 4:7). Bottom line: The Great Commission includes showing great compassion (small and big acts of love) to all people.
